1. Can I use Event Central for paid events?
No, Event Central can only be used for a free event. If you want to create a registration with fees and payments, then we recommend you use our Event Management platform.
2. Which services can be used with Event Central?
Event Central is integrated with WebInterpoint only.
3. Can I create a customized, branded registration page?
Yes. It’s easy to create a basic registration page to meet your needs in minutes – including your organizations’ logo and customized registration fields.
4. Can I customize the email messages to send to people?
Event Central has email templates that are produced for all occasions such as announcements, confirmations, thank you for attending and sorry we missed you. The invitation template will be sent to the creator of the event and they can then forward it to possible registrants. The registration approval and the post event emails are templates that will also be sent automatically. However, you can create your own email for already registered people. Click on Who Registered Select the person or group of people you want to send Select send email to selected participants. Here, you will be able to create your own email to send out to only already register participants.
5. Can Event Central be set up to offer multiple registration options?
No, you can only have one registration option. If you want multiple registration options such as Member, Non-Member, Student, VIP or General Admission then we recommend you use our more advanced Event Management platform.
6. Will the Event Central track customer registration activity and history?
Yes, Event Central will collect and report on all customer registration data. You can collect registrants data, their registration status (approved or not approved) and if their event attendance status as well.
Yes, the pages are fully secured using 128 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) allowing you to collect registrants data and launch your live event safely.
8. Does Event Central have any settings where they can limit the registration to certain people?
Yes, Event Central has multiple options in order to limit registration or restrict access to our event. For example, there is an option to limit the registration to a certain amount of people. Also, you can set up your registration process to allow you to manually select people that you want to approve or deny their registration.
9. How do I direct people to my registration page?
Once you create your event through Event Central, you will be given a link that you can share with others. You can then use this URL on your website, emails or printed materials to direct attendees to your registration page.
10. How can I collect additional information about attendees?
Event Central provides the option to add more custom fields to the registration page. As organizer, you have the option to choose the questions as well as determine whether they are optional or mandatory. It’s all up to you!
11. How can I see who has registered after registration has ended?
It’s easy! Event Central online reporting tools provide 24/7 access to registrant data. You can easily display reports onscreen or export them to an excel file to download and save all the information you need.
12. How fast can I set up a registration for an event with Event Central?
It is very quick and simple. As long as you have all the information required for the event such as date, time, and description then you can probably create a registration in an hour.
